HistoriaMC Has a New Website

Hello, Historians.

Until now, most information about the server has been spread throughout Discord, planning documents, and individual announcements. That works while a project is small, but it becomes increasingly difficult for new players to understand what the server is, how its systems work, and where they should go for reliable information.

The new website is intended to become the main public home for HistoriaMC.

It provides a clearer overview of the server, its progression system, its major gameplay pillars, and the kind of world we are trying to create. It also gives us a permanent place to publish documentation and development updates without burying everything inside Discord channels.

What the Website Includes

The homepage introduces HistoriaMC as a modded geopolitical Minecraft server centered around civilization-building, historical progression, industry, exploration, politics, trade, and conflict.

It also includes a timeline showing the server’s planned progression through nine eras:

  • Ancient Era
  • Classical Era
  • Medieval Era
  • Renaissance Era
  • Industrial Era
  • Modern Era
  • Atomic Era
  • Information Era
  • Future Era

The entire server advances through these eras together. As the world progresses, new technologies, recipes, industries, transportation methods, equipment, and other systems become available.

Players and nations will still develop differently through specialization, geography, infrastructure, trade, politics, and how they choose to use the technologies available to them.

Documentation

The website now includes a dedicated Documentation section.

This will eventually serve as the main reference for:

  • Installing and joining the server
  • Era progression
  • Technology trees
  • Player specializations
  • Towns and nations
  • Diplomacy and trade
  • Warfare
  • Create and industrial systems
  • Geography and regional resources
  • Frequently asked questions

Some pages are still in development and will continue changing as systems are finalized and tested.

The goal is not to pretend that every mechanic is already complete. The goal is to keep the available information organized, understandable, and reasonably current.

Rules

The complete HistoriaMC rules are also available through the website.

The rules apply across the Minecraft server, Discord, website, events, and other official HistoriaMC community spaces.

Keeping them on the website makes them easier to navigate and update than a single enormous Discord message. It also gives each major section a permanent link that staff and players can reference when needed.

Development Blog

This post is also the beginning of the HistoriaMC Development Blog.

We plan to use the blog for updates involving:

  • Server systems
  • Era progression
  • Technology-tree development
  • Modpack changes
  • Map and world development
  • Playtesting
  • Website improvements
  • Technical milestones
  • Launch preparation

Discord will remain the best place for discussion and quick announcements. The Development Blog will be used for longer updates that deserve a permanent and organized place to live.

Why Build a Website?

Minecraft servers are often hidden almost entirely inside Discord and server-list pages.

That makes it difficult for someone unfamiliar with the project to understand what they are joining. A player may see a video, post, or advertisement, but then have nowhere useful to go besides a Discord invite.

The website gives HistoriaMC a public identity outside of Discord.

Someone should be able to visit it and quickly answer:

  • What is HistoriaMC?
  • What makes it different?
  • How does progression work?
  • What can players do?
  • How do I join?
  • Where can I find the rules and documentation?
  • Is the project still being actively developed?

It also gives us a better destination for future videos, advertisements, partnerships, screenshots, and community sharing.

Still in Development

The website itself is not finished.

Some information is still missing because the corresponding server systems are still being developed or tested. The modpack download, server address, hardware guidance, and several detailed mechanics will be added once they are ready to be published.

The visual side of the website will also improve as Historia develops. Current screenshots will gradually be replaced with stronger images from actual towns, factories, railways, expeditions, nations, and events created on the server.

For now, the website gives the project a much stronger foundation and makes it easier to follow what we are building.

You can explore the website, read the available documentation, and join the HistoriaMC Discord through the navigation above.

History is yours to build.
